Firth Sol
Backup Semiconductor
A solar-thermal-powered backup semiconductor line for Firth. Desert-deployed failover fabrication for daytime continuity.
Concentrated solar collectors drive a thermal storage loop that powers wafer fabrication through the day, with molten-salt buffering into the night. Second redundancy layer behind Geo.

The Backup Concept
The Firth Sol Backup is a desert-deployed solar-thermal failover line. Concentrated parabolic collectors charge a molten-salt thermal battery that powers fab operations through the day and buffers into the night. It is the second redundancy layer behind the Geo line.
☀️
Solar Concentrator Array
Parabolic mirrors focus sunlight to charge the molten-salt loop — zero fuel, zero grid dependency.
🧂
Molten-Salt Battery
Stores 8 hours of thermal energy to extend fabrication past sunset.

Sol AI Manager
Optimizes fab scheduling against weather forecasts and solar availability windows.
Firth Sol Backup — Daylight Redundancy
Second-layer failover. Desert sun keeps the line alive.
